I’ll start with a short talk about bats including what they eat, why they are important and what types you will find in UK. I'll also cover what to do if you find a grounded or injured bats and share some bat rescue stories.

Then I will explain what a bat detector is and how it works before exploring my local patch to find some bats and letting you listen to the different sounds they make.
